Ah, some of the memories of being home at this time of year include listening to C100Fm
www.c100fm.com which is the main top 40 station for most of Nova Scotia. This year, they have a Santa sitin, whereby you can call the station and talk to Santa on the air live. My children were able to call from Japan!
What our Christmas dinner table looked like in Canada when I was a kid. This shot was taken on my trip home. My daughter and step-cousin John.
My father was able to get himself so Christmas underware.
What I don't miss are the snowstorms. The Northumberland Ferries actually had to finish their season early due to the weather and ice build up. As this shot shows, the straight needs to be ice free for a sail. And as of Boxing Day, December 26, 2013, Nova Scotia is to be hit by it's third storm in ten days!
